A Stylish Airbnb Transformation: Traditional to Contemporary

A traditional mid‑terrace layout with three separate bedrooms upstairs, a bathroom on the ground floor, and two reception rooms (living and dining areas) on the ground floor— all contained within about 95 sqm of space.

We completely reimagined the ground floor by opening up the once-separate living and dining rooms into a unified, expansive open-plan living, kitchen, and dining area. This modern living hub fosters a seamless flow and invites natural light throughout—perfect for social interactions or relaxed stays. At its heart lies a state-of-the-art kitchen, fitted with elegant marble worktops for both style and durability, elevating everyday living with refined luxury.
 

The original ground floor bathroom was relocated upstairs—dramatically improving the property’s layout and functionality. The new upstairs family bathroom was designed to provide a calm, spa-like atmosphere with:

• Contemporary tiles
   
• A full-sized bath with overhead shower
   
• Floating vanity unit
   
• High-spec fixtures throughout
   

The new location ensures added privacy for guests and eliminates the inconvenience of having to walk through communal areas to access bathroom facilities. This repositioning also allowed us to repurpose the ground floor space more effectively, supporting the overall increase in usable living and sleeping areas.
 

We maximised the full potential of the upstairs area by reconfiguring it into three generously sized bedrooms, each designed to feel like a restful retreat. The layout was strategically planned to create:

• One large primary bedroom with ample space for storage and natural light
   
• Two additional double bedrooms, each able to accommodate couples, children, or single guests
   

Downstairs, we added a fourth bedroom, giving the property exceptional flexibility. This room is ideal for older guests, those with mobility needs, or larger groups who want multiple sleeping options.
